The EID Tree is used for the two main EID events in the Muslim calendar.
These include:
Eid al-Fitr – the festival of breaking the fast that takes place at the end of Ramadan.
Eid al-Fitr is is the first day of the Islamic month of Shawwal. It marks the end of Ramadan, which is a month of fasting and prayer. The calendar is based on the lunar cycle, in particular on actual sightings of the new moon, so the start and end dates of each month vary from year to year.
Eid al-Adha – is the second of the two Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide each year, and considered the holier of the two.
Eid al- Adha “Festival of the Sacrifice” is a major festival that takes place at the end of the Hajj. This is on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the 12th and final month in the Islamic calendar, known as the ‘month of the pilgrimage’. This is the time when Muslims from around the world traditionally go to Mecca – a religious duty they must carry out at least once in their lifetime.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator color=”black”][vc_column_text]Can I use this tree for other celebrations?
